Look what I just found on the “Lines and colors” website.
There is only a trailer at the moment but check out that that gorgeous looking short film with a very appealing painterly rendering. You will also find some nice pastel colorscript thumbnails. I thought it was a StudioAKA production at first but it is not.

Passion Pictures "The Beatles"
Passion Pictures Pete Candeland directed the “Beatles” Rockband game intro. The first part is in 2d giving us a summary of the Beatles career with stylised band members and the second part is all in CG done in the London studio.

Check out the credits for more infos, you will recognize few names from Gobelins “Burning Safari” and a well known XSI modeler.
