Mike and I have been working on a French version<\/strong> of his great animation tutorial videos for the past few weeks and they are now available on the JRWebinar<\/a> store page.<\/a><\/p>\n

It is not very often that you see a video tutorial with a top feature animator working in a commercial package so you must recommend the videos to all your french speaking friends!<\/p>\n

Mike Walling et moi avons travaill\u00e9 pendant quelques semaines sur une version francaise de ses vid\u00e9o tutoriel de m\u00e9canique corporelle. Les vid\u00e9os sont \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent disponible sur le magasin virtuel (store)<\/a> du site de Jason Ryan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mike Walling<\/a> a commenc\u00e9 sa carri\u00e9re d’animateur en 2001 et a joint Dreamworks en 2010 apr\u00e9s avoir travaill\u00e9 sur des films aussi prestigieux que L’Age de glace, Horton, ou Surf’s Up.<\/p>\n

Ce n’est pas tous les jours que l’on peut voir un animateur de tr\u00e9s haut niveau travailler sur un logiciel commercial, aussi cette vid\u00e9o doit \u00e9tre recommand\u00e9e \u00e0 tous les d\u00e9butants et les animateurs plus aguerris qui r\u00eavent un jour de travailler dans un studio de cin\u00e9ma d’animation. Rappellons que les studios Dreamworks et Pixar utilisent des logiciels d’animation propri\u00e9taire aussi, rare sont les animateurs de ces deux studios qui connaissent Maya sur le bout des doigts.<\/p>\n

Pour la traduction, j’ai repris la terminologie utilis\u00e9e par Richard Williams dans son ouvrage Techniques d’animation<\/a>. Les termes Key poses, breakdown, inbetween et spacing ont \u00e9t\u00e9 respectivement traduits par Pose clefs, intervalle principal\/breakdown, intervalle et espacement.
\nLes termes Ease in, drag, overlap, overshoot ont quant \u00e0 eux \u00e9t\u00e9 traduits par amorti, retard, chevauchement et d\u00e9passement.<\/p>\n
